About us

Hi! My name is Katie and to say I am an animal lover would be an understatement. Everyone in my family loves animals and I don't rememeber a time growing up that we didn't have dogs, cats and many other animals in our house. From horseback riding lessons in junior high, to working at a dog groomers in high school, to volunteering at an animal rescue non-profit in college, animals have always been a big part of my life and I can't imagine life without them.

Since animals have been such an intigral part of my life I understand first hand the importance and challange of finding a dog with both a loving temperment and excellent health that is the perfect fit for you. With over 14 years of combined brereding experience we know first hand the importance and value of puppies with strong genetics and excellent temperments. Several of the ways we try to ensure this is that we carefully select our parent dogs from reputable breeders. Each of our Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles is AKC certified. All of our parent dogs have been genetically health tested and cleared through PawPrint Genetics. All of our parent dogs have also been OFA hip and elbow tested and cleared with either excellent or good ratings on their hip and elbow testing. Genetic Health testing and OFA Hip and Elbow testing is of utmost importance when selecting a puppy.

Our dogs are first and foremost our pets. We do not use any guardian homes. All of my furbabies live in my house and are a part of our family. We decided not to use a guardian home program because we want to know exactly what is going on with each of our dogs, and so that we truly know them and their personalities to better help and serve those adopting a puppy from us. Our puppies are also raised in our home and given lots of love and affection everyday.

It is of upmost importance to me to provide families with puppies that are sweet, loving, happy new family members. To help achieve this I use the Puppy Culture Program as I raise my puppies. I love this program because it provides an enriching environment for the puppies through each of their puppy stages as they are developing and learning, starting from when they are born to all the way up until they go to their furever homes. We also start Early Neorologial Stimulation (ENS) starting around day 3. The puppies are socialized and used to other dogs and cats. We have a rescue cat named Kip. He loves playing with the dogs and puppies. I think he secretly believes he is a dog! My goal is happy, healthy bernedoodle puppies that will be wonderful companions and family members.  I would love the opportunity to help you find your fur baby!
